little girl

I'm so exited to go to the netherlands. I'm looking forward to it and will meet a new little girl, puck! a daughter of a good friend. I made her a name stamp. They had such a lovely card, printed on wood!

drawing

I wanted to do this for a long time. I saw the idea at vlijtig, and loved it. And the funny part is that i found the time now in the autumn holiday! things are really getting easier with their age. Jilles makes the most beautiful detailed drawings...so easy to pick one element. I liked this strange bird! love how it turned out.

moustache

I had a little left over stampcarving material and made this moustache. I made two faces and j & s found it so funny, they wanted to make one too. they asked me to stamp a whole paper full with moustaches so they could make their own moustache-men. so much fun with just a little left over.

new little ones

a lot of babies have been born this summer, but i didn't always find the time to make something personal. kate and benne can stamp away with their name stamps...

lunchdates

since we will be leaving in a few weeks from now, I have a lot of nice lunchdates with good friends. for stijn I made these stamps for his kids. It was very nice to have a pleasant lunch with wine and a good conversation!

monday Line is born! the name sounds a bit funny in English, but I love it in dutch ;-)). welcome little girl!

almost 3

preparing for his birthdayparty. we made a goodiebag (one you can recycle), I ordered cotton bags at lobbes and decorated them with stamps. Stije wanted a rocket and a moon on it. I figured it would be nice to match the little toy inside with the rocket theme. Stije totally disagreed and chose the bird whistler. hope his new age also changes his stubbornness ;-))...but in the end we both were happy with the result.

early

I decided this year to start early with the christmas decorations....so I will have enough time to make more than one ;-))

a lot of work...

....not for me but for my parents. They are doing a lot of work in france, making tomatojuice, picking grapes and making wine, jams etc....so I made them some stickers with a stamp. I also made Thijs a stamp, he is a friend of Jilles and turned 5!

on request

because of some stamp making requests, I started carving again. It's fun and I'm still loving the magic of stamping..

big difference

I bought a new lino cutter and that makes a big difference, for stamp making I always used an old one. It's a lot easier now, a few examples of the results.

forgotten birthday

I am not so good in remembering birthdays, a few weeks ago I forgot the birthday of a very nice colleague. So I decided to make her a namestamp, since I did a graphical course (last year) I'm into stamp making, I like it, it's fun and quite easy and quick result. She told me that as a child she never could find stickers, stamps or mugs with her name, so she was very suprised with her namestamp, at last she had one ;-). I also made some stickers with a bird stamp, one of my favourites.
