This very nice marimekko tea cup is a gift of a good friend. love the size and the print! Stije is also very fond of the cup, he keeps calling the red detail a ladybug!

one line
I always wanted to make a piece of ceramic with only one line, it's a quite stupid wish, but somehow I never made the right piece of ceramic for it, now I finally succeded and I am happy with the result. how simple can life be..zaterdag 19 juli 2008
wrong color
This platter turned out quite well, but I didn't like the color when it came out of the oven, that's the difficulty with ceramic. Next time better.

I love to work with different kind of materials. Last week I decided with two friends we will follow a course on ceramics again. It's been two years since I finished years of courses on ceramics so it's time to get my hands dirty again with clay. I prefer to make my work very thin, it's fragile this way but I love the texture it gives the objects and it's always a surprise how it turns out in the oven.
